Genesis 1:26-28, 2:4-17
Pastor Jon Alexanian
After a few weeks of talking about the gift of Sabbath rest, this week we’re going to jump into a new series looking at how we spend our time the other 6 days of the week – or, more specifically, we’re spending a few weeks digging into a theology of work.
Its no surprise to anyone that we spend the vast majority of our lives working – be it in a job, or even just doing normal everyday life stuff (cooking meals, caring for children, running errands, etc.). Diving deep into this series, this week, we’re going to address a very fundamental question – and that is, why do we work? What is the motivation or purpose of our work? How does God feel about our work? And we all know, work can be frustrating and toilsome, but is there anything redeemable about work? Well that’s what we’re talking about this Sunday.
See you there,
